International Gathering

International Gathering

On November 19th I assisted to my first international gathering at the Cue Club located Annandale. In the gathering I met a lot F1-students who are currently in college and some of them have already graduated. I also had the opportunity to discuss with professionals about careers that I am interested.

In the meeting I met my new friend Altino. Altino came from Angola a few months ago; he is a currently studying at NOVA and this is his first semester. Altino is pursuing his major in Computer Science. Like many students he works diligently and has a passion for computers. Altino is also a current intern at F-1 Student Network.

I really enjoyed the international gathering I had a great experience meeting fabulous people. For the first time I did not feel strange and alone. I met people like me who also have difficulties but work hard to reach their goals.

I want to invite you to our next international meeting, which will take place on December 18th. Come and join to our group.
